This is one of my favorite Haps, when I first saw them, I did not consider buying them, but after much persuasion (Hi Vicky!) I finally did. Now I admitt that this is probably one of the most beautiful, both in looks and in character, inhabitant in this tank. The two that inhabit the tank are inseperable - I am sure this will change but for the momment it is a a joy to watch. Electras are very peacuful cichlids, but can also hold thier ground. They can be kept with mild and wild tempered fish...and the colors they display when adults is also another good reason to keep them.
