125 Gallon Haplochromine Tank

125 G tank
I consider this my favorite tank. When I fist got into fishkeeping, this was the exact tank I was thinking of. I believe there is a nice contrast of colors and a what is called "natural" look to the tank.

Water Parameters
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10-30
pH 8.0-8.5
GH 11°
KH
Filtration Whisper 4
Millenium 2000
2 Powerheads
(500 and 1000 GPH)
Lighting 4 40w flourescant
Sunlight tubes

I try to check the ammonia and nitrite levels every two weeks, the nitrate level every week, and the other values very rarely as a periodic check-up. The substrate is 100% crushed coral. The rocks used in this tank were bought from a stone quarry. This allowed me to buy much more than I need for a very low price. From there, I stacked the rocks, small ones first, and added 2 power filters in the rock work to increase circulation in through the rocks.
