
Discussion: As you can see above the idea behind this project is CONTROL. I am basically sampling the voltage coming from the voltage divider at the dish and using it to determine the current position of the dish.
The Microcontroller unit is also going to be able to tell the dish where to go and how to get there.
1. the voltage from the dish is converted to a frequency,so that the information is now in the frequency domain. Remember frequency does not vary over distance.
2. frequency is converted back to voltage so that the hc611 can measure it through its A/D port.
3. The hc611 applies voltage to the terminal of the motor at the dish while it reads the voltage coming from the dish.
Below i am about a month into the project,troubleshooting my A/D circuitry. Yeah right!!!
